Data and Images we collect
During the creation of a new cell type, we collect: cell type name, cell shape, cell dimensions, Magnification, Image scale, aggregate shape, aggregate dimensions, cell type description, 3 sets of example images and control images.When you upload Files, we will receive the batch of biological images, the File name, cell type and any additional information the user has provided. The set of data will be encrypted before being transferred to LN Link.
How we use your data
Upon creation of a new cell type we will use the following information for the following purposes:Cell type name: Enables LN Link to identify and categorize the image analysis model created from the Biological data and images collected. The name allows for user identification in the user database and uploading purposes.Cell description: To allow the user to add a more detailed description for identification purposes in the user database.(Biological data) cell shape, cell dimensions, magnification, image scale, aggregate shape, aggregate dimensions: so we can apply mathematical calculations for data analysis and quantification purposes.(Biological images) 3 sets of example images, control images: to train our image analysis model.Upon Request new cell type and Upload file, we will process and analyze the biological images provided and generate data. We use the cell type to identify the analysis methods and the file name to filter and categorize for the users database. The data will be encrypted and securely transferred to the users’ data base.
Data retention
The Cell type name and Cell type description will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in the policy. It will be deleted when you delete the cell type or accountWe will retain Biological data only in the form of parameters used by our analysis model for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. It will be deleted when you delete the cell type or your account.The biological name, description, data and images may be securely deleted from LN Link at any time in the processing stage by cancelling the “upload new cell type” or “upload file”.The data may be securely deleted from the LN Link database at any time by a user admin, a user granted full access or if requested by email.Cookies
